Design and Build Scholarship

Students are eligible for this scholarship opportunity if they:

  • Are majoring in any of the following fields: Architectural Design and Drafting, Interior Design, or Building Construction Technology- Design/Build Remodeling
  • Are beginning their second year in their major of study during the scholarship year

Supplemental Questions
  1. The PCC Foundation does not allow students to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools on any part of your scholarship application, including all essays. I understand the use of AI is not permitted on the PCC Foundation scholarship application and falls under the PCC Academic Misconduct policy (Student Code of Conduct). AI use includes, but is not limited to, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grammarly, and other advanced text-generation tools.   2. Extra Essay (350 word limit): The interior design, architectural design and design/build construction industries have each been significantly affected by the recent economic recession and currently weak recovery. Please explain how you and your industry should address this new reality through new approaches and practices in business and design.
  3. This scholarship requires a work sample, please upload a sample of your choice (term paper, room design, CAD drawing, photo display, etc.) Please choose a work sample that demonstrates ability in your major field of study.
